  • Submit the documents in the same order as listed above.
  • Copy should accompany of Original marks cards duly attested for verification.
  • Completed application should be submitted along with original testimonials.
  • The candidate shall have scored not less than 45% of marks in aggregate
  • PIO/Foreign students should submit five sets of the listed documents duly attested

Separate merit lists will be prepared for each of the three categories of admission viz.,
  • General
  • Industry Nominated
  • NRI & Foreign.
One can opt for any one category only. The admission is offered strictly by merit, based on the performance in the qualifying examination; entrance examination and interview / counseling conducted by I-GATE subject to availability of seats. Lady candidates will be given preference.

The Entrance Examination is usually held in the month of September every year. All candidates have to appear for the entrance examination conducted by I-GATE. In special cases, I-GATE may waive the requirements of entrance examination in case of NRI / Foreign candidates.

The Entrance Examination will include communication English, Technical knowledge, Engineering drawing, ability to think and apply knowledge.

A multi-form of instruction has been adopted, comprising of:
  • Print material : Study material for all subjects, which are supplied in the form of books with payments.
  • Counseling Sessions : Will be held at the centers, to suit the convenience of the candidates
  • Practical Sessions : Will also be held at the centers.
  • Assignments : For assessment, evaluation and for fee-back of comprehension of study material.
  • Project work : To enable the candidate to gain an insight to independent working on a practical project.

Considerable importance is given to hands-on training on computers in this program. A set of practical exercise for subjects which need laboratory work is available at the study centers as also on the web site. Candidates need to do these practical exercises under the guidance of their Study center faculty, major part of the contact hours at the study centers will be devoted to this laboratory work.
